050300.68 Philological Education

(specialized Master Program "Linguistic Education")

The program aims to improve the students' level of language competency within practical skills and theoretical knowledge which reflect the contemporary state of Linguistics and Linguistic Didactics. The students are supposed to learn methodology and methods of scientific work in Linguistics, Linguistic Didactics, develop lexicographic culture, study computer technologies used in the practice of teaching languages in conditions of profiled general secondary schools and higher education institutions, automatic processing of linguistic material and translation.

050700.68 Pedagogy

(specialized Master Program "Preschool Education")

The program aims at widening and deepening knowledge of psychological and pedagogical theories and systems, improving the level of competency of a specialist in the sphere of preschool education content and technology.

Supervisor is Anna Beloshistaya, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor


Study period is 1 year for full-time students and 1,5 years for part-time students.



050300.68 Philological Education

(specialized Master Program "Methodic technologies in Philological Education")

The program aims to provide students with advanced vocational education and a complex of competencies of a social-mobile specialist in the sphere of teaching philological subjects. The program is meant to develop the whole range of valuable orientations, professional knowledge and skills comprising communicative, intercultural and research competency both on the personal and educational levels. The students are supposed to study methodology and methods of scientific work in Linguistics, Linguistic Didactics, theory and methods of teaching languages, develop research culture, improve methodic technology used in the practice of teaching languages in conditions of education modernization, in general, and  profiled general secondary schools and higher education institutions.



Master Degree graduates may work as lecturers at pedagogical colleges and higher education institutions which train specialists in the sphere of Philology, they may work as teachers of the Russian language and Literature, teachers of English.

Study period is 1 year

(specialized Master Program "Early teaching foreign languages in the sphere of intercultural communication")

The program aims to provide the students with a wide range of problems of early teaching foreign languages, deepen basic theoretical knowledge in the sphere of modern conception of teaching foreign languages as a means of intercultural communication, modern technologies of training specialists in the area of early teaching foreign languages.

Master of early teaching foreign languages in the sphere of intercultural communication is trained for teaching and consulting in educational institutions of different types, educational activities in the professional development system, as well as conducting research in the sphere of education.

Supervisor is Marina Lukina, Candidate of Pedagogy, PhD.

(specialized Master Program "Theory and practice of teaching intercultural communication in polyethnic (multiethnic) and polyethnic (multicultural) sphere").

This program aims to provide the students with an advanced professional education and a complex of competencies for a social-mobile specialist in the sphere of intercultural communication.

This area is explained by a rising interest in the problems of intercultural communications among the nations, as well as working out and realization of the national policy based on the idea of tolerance. The necessity to train Masters of Philological Education in the sphere of theory and practice of teaching intercultural communication is determined by the regional need for employees in this area.

 The Master program graduates may work as organizers of extra class and extracurricular activities in the multicultural environment (schools, clubs), teachers of Russian as a foreign language, consultant in the national diasporas and societies of the Murmansk region, business consultants in the joint enterprisers. Sphere of professional activities of Masters of Philological Education in the area of theory and practice of teaching intercultural communication in polyethnic and polycultural environment are different types of educational institutions (schools, colleges, higher education institutions), nationality-based non-governmental organizations (clubs, national autonomies), enterprises, conducting international cooperation.

   Masters of theory and practice of teaching intercultural communication in polyethnic and polycultural environment are trained for the following activities:

  • - science and research in the sphere of intercultural communication and teaching Russian as a foreign language in the background of cultures' polylogue;
  • - creation and use of information and educational environment which may be realized in the training programs for schoolchildren;
  • - development of various modern teaching aids improving ethnic education efficiency.

   Masters of theory and practice of teaching intercultural communication in polyethnic and polycultural environment are trained for teaching, consulting, managing activities in educational institutions, educational activities in the professional development system, as well as for science and research in education.
